Black Genius is the pairing of a producer & a singer that are creating a nice buzz on the underground. Seven Davis Jr has been a quite warrior on the LA beat scene for quite some time. He came to my attention thru the recommendation of 2 of my favorite artist, I'Ced of Hawthorne Headhunters & Erik Rico. If you don't recognize the name J. Mitchell, you may recognize her work with Ta'Raach & The Lovelution, her brief stint as lead singer of the LA soul band The Rebirth, or most recently, her KILLER collab & video with producer Exile.
